Storage & Display

Our built-in corner cabinets located in our eat-in-kitchen allows me to both store and display some of my favorite kitchen items such as cookbooks and pretty glasses. I just love a KitchenAid mixer (I want one in every color!) – the glass cabinet provides a way of keeping it off the countertop while allowing it to still be seen.

Displaying cookbooks on your countertop or open shelves and cabinets are a great addition to any kitchen. ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess’ is front and center in mine!

Both of these bottles have sentimental value. The bottle of Dom was a gift on a special occasion and the J.Garcia was purchased on a vacation to Sonoma Valley. The set of gold leaf glasses were also a gift and are from World Market.

On top of the cabinet I have a decorative ceramic rolling pin from Anthropologie in a large glass jar coupled with a basic wood pin and a framed piece of art from my daughter’s preshcool class (she is now in college!). A plant on top of one of the cabinets would also look nice and add some life. Right: a tiny bunny my daughter painted on a beach stone tucked in the corner.

My KitchenAid mixer fits perfectly on the bottom shelf. ❥
